Zahara "Zee" Johnson

You're probably here to learn more about Zee Johnson, the writer and editor, yes? That's me! Very nice to meet you. Before we dive into things, I'd be remiss if I didn't introduce myself in a way that holds true to who I am, which means telling most of my life story in our very first conversation.

Where to start? Well, I'm the mother of a wrestling- and muscle car-loving little boy. I'm from the part of New Jersey that's closest to Philadelphia, not New York! Trust me, there's a difference. I love a good vegan yogurt parfait, watching any of the Real Housewives franchises, and long drives that include music as loud as my ears will allow. I also think it's important to note that I was voted best all around and most likely to succeed in high school, two accolades that I've held on to for dear life. To round things out, I'm a fraternal twin, fitness fiend, business owner, and peace seeker.

What You Came For

I pride myself on being a uniquely personable writer who has spent the last decade working for award-winning publications, such as the Baltimore Sun and HRO Today.

Some of the beats that I've thoroughly researched and reported on include learning and development in the workplace, DEI, compliance, AI implementation, pay equity, health technology, talent acquisition, and even professional and personal relationship building.

Head on over to the "Work" section to read some of my favorite clips. After that, contact me so that we can become better acquainted. Talk soon, friend!
